The theme at The Garden for August is Area 51, and Winter Thorn of {what next} created the Mesa Living Room Set exclusively for the event. It comes in 2 flavors - one more pastal/colorful and the other is more grey/muted tones. The one above is the more colorful one. I love the clock and the retro feel of the entire set.

I am strong - new line from Maxwell Graf

I love Maxwell Graf. He is one of the most creative guys I know in SL. So when I heard he was thinking about starting a clothing line, called bitch, I was impatiently waiting. FINALLY, he has released something... this top - Chained Maille Doublet - w/armor for We Love RolePlay this month. You can wear the top alone or with the armed pieces in leather or steel. I'm wearing the leather ones. I love that this top will work from either a fashionista standpoint without the armor or for rp'ing - or both. Personally, this top makes me feel really strong! Like a female Robin Hood. And he's promising boy shorts to go with the top very soon.

I absolutely LOVE these mesh bikes from {what next}. Since they're wearable, I wanted to take some pics all over SL, but decided on this beach scene instead. This is the Huntingon (for girls w/ basket and flowers) and comes in 7 colors. There's one for the guys - Ventura - and it comes in 5 colors and another one for girls (cos we're special) without the basket, also in 7 colors.

Boats and Bikinis Expo and Hunt

The amazing people at Oceania Breedables have once again brought us another fun event. This time it's the Boats and Bikinis Expo and Hunt. It will go from July 25 - July 31. I was hoping I'd be able to take pics and share them, but RL got in the way. It's also snowing on the sim where I live! lol Fingers crossed that the sun will return and I'll have an opportunity this weekend. There are some really adorable items - bikinis, sundresses and shoes, beach signs and decor and boats - both large and small, and Breedables. See you there!

New from :::WEG::: - Belle de Jour

Lucia Genesis of World's End Garden is releasing this cute summery dress on July 15th. I love this dress! So feminine and sweet in Rosemist. It's also available in an Ice Blue flower print and black and white polka dots, but I was in a girly mood and went with the pink.

The generous and talented Editorial Clarity opened the sim he shares with his honey, RicoRacer Flux, to the public for the next three days. I was fortunate enough to visit today and grab a few photos. He has done an amazing job and his attention to detail makes the place an excellent photo op. Go if you have a chance.

{what next} at The Home Show - Little Haven Caravan

The Home Show opened today and will run through July 30. Winter Thorn created the cutest caravan for the show. It is available in two designs - Cottage (pink) and Coasta (blue) and they are adorable. Cute decor inside with lots of fun animations. Each comes with a campfire and camp chairs and a working tv with 5 "channels" to choose from. I won't tell you what they are but they're really cute. Enjoy and Happy Summer!

{what next} Splash Floating Lounger for Zodiac Cancer

Winter Thorn has released the cutest loungers for Zodiac (Cancer) and they are packed with animations. There are five different patterns with male and female animations.

I love the attention to detail that she gives everything she creates. They come in static and gently, slowly rotating versions. Yes, I said gently and rotating in the same sentence.

I'm not a Breedable person. They are so adorable but I'm a bad owner. So when I noticed breedables at the Under the Sea Expo, they were going to be one of the last items I blogged, if at all. But once I saw how cute they are.... well... who knew? I guess everyone else knew because they're so popular.

Below is the KittyCats! Swimming and Snorkling Kitty from Callie Cline and team. Too cute.

Bands of Cypher has a fun game going on. You have to figure out the combination to a Deep Sea Portal, lining up the correct sequence of symbols. It's fun for those that like a challenging game and easy enough for those of us who don't.  Either way it's worth it. When you solve the puzzle you get the cutest little Yumi!

They're several options - Tickle, Hug, Peek-a-boo, and Call.

Also, there's a free SL10B kitty available from KittyCats! and it is adorbs.

Under the Sea Expo - Friendly Tentacles

 

 
Hi Guys. More from Under the Sea. I love these friendly tentacles from Curio Obscura. Pandora Wigglesworth can always be counted on to have a sense of humor in her creations. There are 5 different animations. All really cute.

The scuba gear is from NDiver Scuba. It comes with lots of gear... much more than I'm currently wearing, but I didn't need it for the pic.

The glowing Hydra Anemone in the middle is by Elicio Ember of Cerridwin's Cauldron and is amazing. (I might bring it into the house after this.) It glows off and on with a smooth transition - not glaring and irritating (sorry Elicio. I'm not explaining it very well) and it's hard to explain so just go see it! The tentacles move in a fluid way. I think I'm obsessed with this thing. hah!

Hair is one of the new Truth hairs - Jolene. I love it. The cap is color/pattern change. Love this hair color - Blonde 1.

My friend, Pinky, is wearing something from 2006 because she just doesn't care, so I won't give you a breakdown of what she's wearing. Unless you want to know and you can IM me inworld.

As blogged earlier, the rock/kelp scene is from Botanical. And the Don't Pee in My Sea log is from FantaSea. It has mermaid animations that are really cute.
