Waiting on Spring 79/365

I received a notice today from Sevenstar Amat of Stitch by Stitch (S b S) about an adorable dress for 50L! I love Sevenstar and her designs are fabulous! Recently, she was featured in the March issue of Deja Vu fashion mag. Finally, this awesome designer is noticed by more than just her diehard fans.

Since it's been snowy here all day and I'm sick of it, I knew I had to buy this dress! When I wear it it feels like Springtime.

I was also doing inventory cleanup...again...and came across this cute as pie Lemonade stand from Kellie Iwish @ Elate. I love it! It's only 13 prims and comes with a pitcher of lemonade, two classes, and a plate of cookies! There is a stool behind the stand you can sit on and rest your elbows on the top and this pose with lemonade in hand. Did I say I love it?

(update: This may have been a group gift. I didn't find it. BUT..everything in the store is 50% off until Feb. 15, including her prefabs and furniture)

This is off the topic, but I just want to say that I think SL is big enough for all of us. Rarely does any one person fit 100% into one mold. If there is anywhere that our creative differences should be celebrated rather than maligned, I would think it would be in a place that is so open to new ideas and creative genius. That.is.all.

Thanks for reading
JJ

  2. I can feel the warm breeze blowing in the pic!! Can't wait to smell that spring smell again--thanks for giving me a taste of it while there is still this cursed snow all over the place!!

Your dress is adorable, and I love the lemonade stand. I will help you staff it and then we can spend our lindens on spring flowers :)
