Kate Stockholm and CheerCoach4EJS Gymnast (the masterminds behind this event) have rallied many generous people in Second Life to donate their LAST CALL outfits (created by the late and great Ginny Talamasca) to benefit the Toys for Tots Charity. These outfits feature high resolution texturing that was cutting edge for the time they where created and to this day still remain timeless and well made.

These outfits are no longer available to buy in Second Life so they are as rare as diamonds and before *Last Call* closed their doors, all outfits were made no-copy, no mod but transferrable.

The management and models at JM Models Modeling Agency is supporting this mammoth event and in the spirit of giving have organised a SHOW and LIVE AUCTION where bidding is open to anyone wanting to support this great charity as well as buy a gorgeous rare outfit. ALL Linden donations are welcome even if you're not bidding for an outfit.

We anticipate this show will last for a few hours as we aim to auction off every outfit. Outfits not sold at the live auction will be placed on auction boards at the JM Models sim so people can come and bid on them at their own leisure - bidding closes Sunday 12th Dec midnight.

I love this time of year in SL! So much stuff! Oh.my.god. Just the hunts alone give us enough stuff to gleefully make our inventory lag monsters. If we also happen to have friends as content creators, or belong to generous designer's groups, our Christmas stockings can practically overflow!

Several of the items in the pic are freebies or near freebies. Others are items I love, like the Little Miss Footsies from FM Shoes which come in 7 colors, including one called Christmas! So toastie! They go perfectly with these pjs from Pididdle, part of the Happy Holidays From...Hunt loot which begins Dec 10th. The bench is from Awesome Blossom...part of Lazy Sunday and comes with 6 poses and color change for both pillows. I have the extreme pleasure of having the amazingly talented Maxwell Graf of Rustica as a friend. He sent out the little Charlie Brown tree.

The With Love From...Hunt - Info & Preview of Goodies

Info first:

This Winter season will bring two hunts from CHIC Management. The "With Love... Hunts" will overlap by one week but will both run for three weeks each. Both hunts are sponsored by ISPACHI.

Each hunt will have 100 brands involved, making 200 yummy gifts for you. However, as with our previous hunt 􀀋 all hunt items will cost 10L.

Brands have been asked to ensure that their items are worth more than 400L, and that they are hidden within a reasonable range from the landing point, and on the same floor you land on. However remember that sometimes these rules can be forgotten.

Once the hunt opens the poster you got this notecard from will begin to dispense hunt lists, that will be kept up to date via a server. That way if an item is moved all you have to do is click the hunt poster to get a fresh hint list.

Both hunts run on the same concept. The theme is thanking our loyal customers for supporting us throughout 2010. Many of us are very fond of our customers, and would like to focus on the expression of that rather than of a strictly holiday based theme. If you have never been to a store before, take a look around. No store is included by accident, so if the hunt includes them they are pretty special and you might find something you love.

This hunt will include items for both male and female avatars as well as unisex items. A list of SLURLs to each store will be provided at www.chic-management.com. Bloggers will have access to the gift items in the week before the hunt opens, so keep your eyes on the feeds to see some of the goodies on offer.

So yesterday, bloggers received the landmark to preview the items! YAY! I'll be doing a post hopefully every day to give you a glimpse of what's in the hunt. So far, everything looks high quality and worth the 10L.

The black booties are from Norman Maroon of FM Boots called Paris Boots. More from FM boots in a post coming soon.
